Today, it’s owned & operated by Woodend locals Tom & Raoul, also the team behind 600 Above Wine Bar, who continue the same commitment to good food, genuine service & local connection.

Meet Our Head Chef, Nikolas Marinkovic
Nik is the heart & soul behind every pizza, focaccia, calzone & panini that leaves our oven.
He’s a traditionally trained & qualified Neapolitan pizza chef who’s been with McQueen’s since day one.
Having mastered the centuries-old art of creating the perfect pizza using traditional techniques & flavours, Nik brings both craftsmanship & creativity to everything he makes. His focus is always on quality, ensuring every pizza, focaccia & panini is made with care & consistency.
More than a chef, Nik has helped shape the culture at McQueens - lighthearted, hardworking & inclusive for both staff & customers. For him, pizza isn’t just food - it’s a passion, a story & a way to bring people together.
